Events, activities and more fun around Charleston and the Lowcountry!

Although fall officially started September 23, here in the Lowcountry it doesn’t quite feel that way! As November kicks off, the fall weather is slowly arriving which means that getting out and enjoying the activities the area has to offer is easier than ever. From trivia nights to gallery nights, there is always an event for you happening! Check out a few of my favorite fall events below and let me know what your favorite is!

Fun fall activities

1. Trivia Nights at Firefly: Thursday, November 16, 2023 & Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

Trivia nights at Firefly are from 6 to 9 p.m. at Firefly Distillery. During the trivia happy hour, enjoy $1 off of cocktails and $6 beers while playing trivia. November 16th trivia theme is Taylor Swift and November 21st is Disney! Grab your friends and test your skills to win the grand prize.

2. Third Thursday hosted by DREAM: November 16, 2023

Vendors from all over the Lowcountry take over Downtown Summerville from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Third Thursday. Novembers theme is Thanksgiving and Football, so wear your favorite jersey and enjoy the local shops!

3. Holiday Festival of Lights: November 10 – December 31, 2023.

Experience the wonder of the holidays as Charleston County Parks hosts its annual drive-through holiday lights show at James Island County Park. Along with the drive-through lights show, enjoy treats, shopping and more holiday activities! Learn more information at CCPRC.

4. Old Time Summerville Christmas Celebration: November 28, 2023.

The Town of Summerville hosts its annual Town of Summerville Tree Lighting Ceremony in Downtown Summerville. The celebration includes pictures with Santa, the countdown and lighting ceremony, letters to Santa, live window displays and more Holiday fun! From 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., Downtown Summerville will be lit up with the sights and sounds of Christmas!

5. ArtWalk: December 1, 2023

Every first Friday of the month the Charleston Gallery Association hosts the ArtWalk. Stroll through the Downtown Charleston galleries and enjoy the vibrant art scene of Charleston!
